 Contact: La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, A RockResort Appoints New Spa DirectorSanta Fe, NM- July 26, 2006- Dan Mohr has been named spa director of the Avanyu Spa at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, a RockResort. Mr. Mohr, a 13-year veteran of the industry, will oversee day-to-day operations of the 4,500 square-foot indigenous spa. “We are thrilled to have Dan join our Avanyu Spa team and we know that his impressive background and knowledge will truly benefit our spa and elevate the luxury experience for our guests,” said Kenneth Humes, general manager at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, a RockResort. Most recently, Mr. Mohr was spa director at The Peninsula Hotel in Chicago. He also held the position of assistant spa director at Red Mountain Spa in Utah and at The Golden Door Spa at The Peaks in Colorado, where he also served as director of the school of massage. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mohr was the certified neuromuscular therapy instructor and consultant for the St. Louis Rams. The Avanyu Spa at La Posada de Santa Fe Resort offers signature treatments that incorporate indigenous elements, such as the Chocolate Chile Wrap and Honey Mesquite Wrap. The spa, which was renovated in 2005, features design elements incorporating Southwestern adobe décor throughout its eight treatment rooms, private Eucalyptus steam room, state of the art fitness center and serene spa lounge. Spa goers can also relax by the heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi or enjoy an outdoor cabana treatment on the roof-top terrace with stunning views of La Posada’s gardens and surrounding mountains.
